One year Diploma in Civil engineering

Civil Engineering is one of the broadest of the engineering disciplines, extending across many technical specialties. Civil engineers plan, design and supervise construction of facilities essential to modern life. These facilities vary widely in nature, size and scope including space satellites and launching facilities, offshore drilling structures, bridges, buildings, highways and other transport systems, tunnels, airport, dams, harbors and other infrastructure. Civil Engineers are required for the design, development and maintenance of such projects and will therefore exhibit superior administrative and human resource management skills apart from their core technical capabilities as engineers.

Programme Objective

An Civil engineer can work in Civil-manufacturing unit and service stations. Civil companies such as TELCO, Bajaj Auto, L&T, Mahindra and Mahindra, Gabriel, Heldex India, and Ashok Leyland, among many others, are recruiting students through campus drives in many top colleges and universities. Self-employment is also possible in setting up Civil garages and workshops. Indian engineers are of great demand in foreign countries, especially the Middle East.

Eligibility

Candidates who have passed any Intermediate (10th) from a recognized board with not less than 2 years of Full Time experience in a Managerial / Supervisory / Professional Role after their diploma and should currently be working in a Professional Capacity in any organization.

Duration

The Program Duration for Diploma in Engineering will be One Year comprising of Two Semesters, Students may choose to take breaks in between subjects/parts. However, they are expected to follow a normative period of Three years i.e. Students will have to complete the program within Three years from session start date.
